FoxESS error codes fall into four groups: the grid (for example Grid Lost Fault), the solar panels (for example Pv Volt Fault and Iso Fault), the battery (for example BMS Lost) and internal faults. Grid faults often clear by themselves when the grid is normal again. Faults that persist or return must be handled by a professional.

Install FoxCloud 2.0, turn on Bluetooth, create an account as Owner and tap Add Devices. The app finds the datalogger over Bluetooth, and you connect it to your Wi-Fi. Use 2.4 GHz, because FoxESS itself writes that setup may fail on 5 GHz.

Read kW as power right now and kWh as energy over time. Judge your system on monthly and yearly kWh per kWp, compared with a realistic benchmark from the EU's free PVGIS tool for your address and roof. Season and weather explain most low days. A sudden drop on clear days, a flat low peak or a recurring alarm points to a real fault.

Download FusionSolar, register your owner account through the invitation your installer sends, and log in. If the plant shows as offline, the inverter's Smart Dongle needs to be connected to your Wi-Fi again. It must be 2.4 GHz, and the signal has to reach the inverter.

Economics
The manufacturers' apps are free, and for many owners that is enough, as long as someone actually uses them. The cost comes when the app is offline or nobody notices a stop. Paid help with setup and ongoing follow-up starts at €6.99/month, and a system standing still for a week in June can cost around 190 kWh for a 6 kWp system, based on PVGIS figures for Denmark.
